Is it possible to save money with a 3D printer?
3D printers are quite confidently entering our lives, and https://jiji.ug/251-lip-glosses often help to replace lathes and milling machines for the manufacture of useful and not so things. The clamp-on sensor in this case will simultaneously show signals for several cylinders, which will make diagnostics impossible. You will need high-voltage wires and protective shipping caps from lambda probes, in which you need to make a hole slightly smaller than the diameter of the wire And a high-voltage sensor is already clinging to this extension cord, which is actually a clothespin of one design or another. Here is a photo of such a module from Peugeot: But it’s not worth it. In such cases, high-voltage extension cords are used.
But the toad puts up a fierce resistance! Let’s try to mold high-voltage extension cords from a ram and sticks! So, the main problem in their manufacture is the question of how to make the extension cord not fall out of the coil/module? After all, the candle is larger in diameter than the high-voltage wire. What it is? This is essentially a high-voltage wire, which is put on the candle with one side, and the other side is inserted into the hole of the module / coil, with which this module was previously put on this candle. And you also need to buy a set of wires. True, the cost is not very encouraging. Maybe there are simpler and cheaper solutions? Moreover, the high-voltage wires themselves can be practically any, in fact, only adapters are needed from the wire to the tip of the module / coil. And if in the case of individual coils (when the coil is put directly on each candle) there are options in the form of sensors on suction cups and overhead sensors, and often you can find a malfunction simply by “walking” with such one sensor through all the coils, then for ignition modules that combine several coils in one housing and are placed on all the candles at the same time – the task becomes much more complicated. * THIS IS NOT A REVIEW! THIS IS A DIY COMMUNITY! It looks much more serious than high-voltage wires wound with electrical tape, it is an order of magnitude more convenient to work with, but unfortunately it does not hold perfectly. I want to rush to buy. A few years ago, I solved this problem quite simply and practically for free. It ends up looking like this: Thus, the usefulness of such extension cords is beyond doubt. Let’s see the prices. And put it together like this:
High voltage power strip adapters. And you need at least 4 of them. The prices here are also for one. Up to the complete impossibility of doing something in the case of, for example, an old Saab, where the module is closed with a thick metal case, or old Peugeots / Citroens, where there are two dual coils in the module and through the entire module, from 1 to 4 cylinders and from 2 to 3 pass current-carrying.
When diagnosing an automotive ignition system, a sensor must be connected to each high-voltage wire or ignition coil. You can wind each time with electrical tape, but somehow this is not so. And such adapters exist. Oh. 12 bucks for one. We will consider one useful and rather expensive thing in this article. But after the appearance of the printer, no one bothers to make an analogue of that branded little white solution, right?
